Karen
Walker, Fashion Designer from New Zealand partnered with Ari Seth Cohen from
the
popular blog Advanced Style, which focuses on stylish and creative older
folks to shoot her
latest campaign. Advanced Style ladies are between 65 – 92 years old. Cohen
photographs
them in their own homes wearing Walker’s new designs.
Karen’s
campaign proves universal appeal, timeless nature of the sunglasses and
ever lasting style. You do not have to lack style just because you grow old. It
is also a
different approach to fashion campaigns, which usually hires younger
models.
The
Karen Walker Spring 2013 Forever Campaign features stylish mature woman from
the
31 piece collection, which the designer states is for everybody of all
ages.
I think
this campaign is so innovative and totally thinking outside of the box…awesome!
